summertime fun

This summer has been a wild and amazing adventure that just hasn't stopped.

We've met with SO many families.  We've been loved on, cooked for, prayed for and encouraged.  We just can't thank each of you enough for taking time to get together with us before we leave!!!

Here's a pic of some sweet friends we got to spend time with...

A dear friend came in town from Indiana.  We laughed and laughed.  This girl makes me smile!!  We went to my favorite restaurant in Atlanta...

John and I celebrated our 15th anniversary (again at my favorite restaurant)...

The view from the fancy place we stayed in Buckhead...

Zach got to go to a camp at our church here in Atlanta.
He did archery as one of his electives and got a few bullseyes.

We've gone to the lakehouse and gone swimmin' and fishin'.
The big kids went tubing for the first time.

We've taken a couple trips.  (More on that later!)

We've had some great hangout time with my family doing fun stuff like getting frozen yogurt and continuing our fun adventures.

We found out that we're expecting baby #4!!
My brother said, "You guys are CRAZY!!"
Why, yes we are!  And we're lovin' every minute of it.

I'm SO excited that we signed a contract today to rent a house.  The only thing we could read on the contract was John's name.  But that's ok.  Refer to the last little section.  No, actually, we just have really great friends who are looking out for us.  I'll do a post soon and share some pics.  You're all going to want to move with us when you see this beauty!

  1. Yay for a great house in Jordan! So glad you're having some memorable moments in Atlanta too. Thank you Jesus!

  2. Did those really great friends tell you why they refused to outright recommend that you rent that particular place? In retrospect, it's an amusing story. Remind us to tell you sometime.
